Empowering the homeless and others in need to improve the quality of their lives… this is the simple yet powerful mission of the Office of Social Ministry.

The services provided by the Office of Social Ministry are accessed most visibly through its drop-in window. It is at this window that people on the street, regardless of their religious orientation, ethnicity or life circumstance, can receive assistance with immediate and wide-ranging needs.

The window not only provides for more pressing needs such as food, counseling and medical care, it serves as a gateway for many services that lead to more permanent, dignified and socially acceptable solutions for those who are homeless… an opportunity for the most disadvantaged to improve their lives.
