Next Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, Market Street will be closed to through traffic. Local Access Only allowed on North Bound Market Street from San Carlos to Post Street. Church parishioners may also access Saint Joseph's Cathedral Basilica by using 1st Street to San Fernando (westbound). Vehicles will be able to turn right on Market Street northbound to Post Street.
After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, on April 20, 2022, the docents will resume giving tours of the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph. The docents will be in the Cathedral Basilica on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM to welcome visitors from near and far.

During the Chrism Mass on April 5, 2022, Fr. Prosper Molengi was incardinated to the Diocese of San José. Incardination refers to a priest being under a bishop of a diocese or the superior of a religious community. In the case of Fr. Molengi, incardinating to the Diocese of San José means that he is now under the care and responsibility of our bishop, Bishop Oscar Cantú.
