"40 Days for Life is a community-based social justice campaign that takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing our local communities the consequences of abortion in our own neighborhoods, for our own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion."
Children grades Kindergarten to 5th grade that are currently enrolled in DSJ Catholic Schools or at a Faith Formation Program are invited to participate. The theme for this year's Christmas cards is “The Holy Family Radiates Love” . The deadline to submit entry is October 21, 2024.
Join us from September 27-29, 2024 for a Retreat Weekend for Single Catholic Women, ages 18-40, discerning a vocation to the religious life. This retreat is hosted by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. Click here for more details.
We will have our celebration of the National Vocation Awareness Week from November 3 to November 9. To promote vocations and to encourage our diocese to pray for vocations, we will have Eucharistic Adoration and Mass each day in the different parishes of our diocese. We will also have a Family Retreat in English and in Spanish on Saturday, November 9 at St. Christopher Catholic Church. Please see the bulletin and the event poster for more details.
